Terms of Service
1. What the app is
Story Channels Publisher ("the app") is a desktop tool that prepares short story videos and uploads them to TikTok accounts you own or are authorized to manage, as drafts. The app does not publish content to TikTok. Publishing is always a manual action taken by the account owner inside TikTok.
2. Who may use it
The app is intended for the owner of the TikTok accounts it is connected to. You may only authorize accounts that you own or have explicit permission to manage, and you must be old enough to hold a TikTok account.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you prepare and for the content you choose to publish.
- You are responsible for complying with TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Where content is generated or assisted by AI, you are responsible for disclosing it as TikTok requires, including applying TikTok's AI-generated content label when you post.
- You are responsible for holding the necessary rights to any material used in the videos you prepare.
- You are responsible for keeping your computer and your TikTok credentials secure.
4. Permitted use
You agree not to use the app to:
- upload content to accounts you do not own or are not authorized to manage;
- post spam, misleading, infringing, or otherwise prohibited content;
- attempt to bypass TikTok's rate limits, review requirements, or platform policies;
- circumvent the manual review step the app is built around.
5. Authorization and access
The app accesses your TikTok account only through TikTok's official APIs, using the permissions you granted. You may revoke that access at any time from your TikTok account settings, which immediately stops the app from uploading anything further.
6. Availability
The app depends on TikTok's APIs, which may change, impose limits, or become unavailable. Uploads may therefore fail or be refused. The app reports such failures rather than retrying indefinitely, and it does not guarantee that any particular upload will succeed.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including lost content, lost reach, or action taken against an account by TikTok.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The current version will always be published on this page with an updated date.
